and Access
Your doctor can advise whether access to certain unregistered products may be appropriate in your circumstances.
According to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), applications for these products generally consider whether you:
01 Chronic Medical Condition
Have a chronic medical condition (with symptoms lasting three months or more) that has been diagnosed by a medical professional.
02 Previous Treatment Attempts
and/or have sought out other forms of treatment that either failed to provide relief in treating the condition or resulted in adverse side effects.
There may be other factors that your doctor will consider when assessing whether access to an unregistered regulated product is appropriate for you, based on your condition and individual circumstances.
